Today is a big milestone for Matthew (a real actual one, well not and actual stone marking and actual mile, but definitely more metaphorically actual than the AGM was). Today he is 3 months old. Officially out of that "4th trimester". We had a bit of a photo session with him in the big chair. Although he spent most of the time gnawing on his hand (his current favourite pastime) he did stop long enough to capture this:

Speaking with Angels
He don’t know how to lie
Or undermine you
He don’t know how to steal
How to deal or deceive
So leave him alone, set him free
Cause he’s speaking with the angel
That only he can see
You say he’s so helpless
Well what about you
You don’t pull the strings
Don’t you know anything
Just leave him alone, let him be
Cause he’s speaking with the angel
That only he can see
Would you teach him about heaven
Would you show him how to love the earth
Would you poison him with prejudice
From the moment of his birth
He in the name of love
He in the blood of the lamb
He that never lays blame
He don’t even know his name
Just leave him alone, let him be
Cause he’s speaking with the angel
Speaking with the angel
The very one that spoke to you and me
Oh do you remember?

Baby's first AGM
There are significant events in our lives that act as the milestones - markers of the path we have taken. Birth (obviously), baptisms, graduations, first dates, and the like. Well Sunday we had one of those significant events in our little guys life: his first AGM. Yep Matthew attended our church's Annual General Meeting. A lively event full of intrigue and debate. He participated fully by talking through the first part and sleeping through the second - not unlike many of the other participants. I wanted to get a shirt: "Baby's first AGM", but can you believe that they are special order?
